I realized after publishing this article that since the topic of election integrity is so divisive, it might lead to strong accusations or insults against one political party. I would like to keep this topic civil, so I am restricting who can comment on this one.

I have an unrelated question. I live in a state that has very few options for people who don't want to be corralled into the corporate medical model. For example, in my town of 60,000, there is one medical clinic and that is it. All the doctors in it are fully captured and on board with the allopathic model. They speak with one voice, and that is the voice of the CDC. They are still harassing people to get the jab, and they still believe in masks. I would like to find a physician online, but I'm finding there are laws against my using any physician outside the state. I would just quit going to the doctor, but unfortunately there is one prescription I must take (thyroid) because I had a thyroid nodule irradiated, and that killed my thyroid (don't get me started). So my doctor keeps me as a virtual prisoner shackled by this prescription, which she won't give me unless I cooperate with her narrative. In her head she is living in a universe where COVID is deadly and dreadful, and we all must wear masks, get multiple shots, and go to the doctor when they demand it. So here is my question: do you have any ideas about how I can get out of this situation? Are there ways to get around this requirement that I must see a doctor in the state? Is there a way to get thyroid without having to go through the regular channels? I'm still seeing posts from people who are still being turned down at pharmacies even when they DO have doctor's prescriptions for IVM and HCQ, so I have been too discouraged to try to finesse the authoritarian system.

Short answer: it should be very easy to find an online physician who will do that. Teledocs love patients like you where its very little work to do the visit (as they are just being seen for a medication refill).

Longer answer: A few doctors I know like Pierre Kory are effectively licensed in all 50 states and provide the type of help you are looking for.

I also have found you can often address thyroid issues by taking the correct form of iodine (either nascent, lugols or one of the ones standard process makes), and those do not require a prescription. David Brownstein MD explains all of this in his book about iodine.

My daughter was diagnosed with hypothyroidism and didn’t want to take the hormones. Her doctor said there was one natural product that might help her, but she thought it was only available in Canada. I kept looking until I found it in the US at this company. After starting on it, her next complete thyroid panel was normal for all values. IDK if this will help in your case, but here's the link.

Why must you see a dr in state? Are you wanting to continue to use insurance ? There are a number of virtual clinics that would be able to help you virtually and run blood work to continue your RX. Some of the drs in the flccc have virtual clinics that can assis with things like this I would imagine.

Otherwise I would plug into your local holistic community. There are usually local groups on Facebook that can point you in the right direction. I too m in a state where my opinions are very limited. I have a long standing relationship as a patient with a clinic that operates in person and virtually in another state that I can utilize. They can write a RX that I can pick up at a local pharmacy no problem. Locally I have found a chiropractor that is trained as a functional medical doctor that can order blood work for cash pay that traditional docs don’t want to order which is also an option.

Learn something new every day. I didn't know there were 3 states that still require an in person visit before starting Tele-Health with someone.

Expand full comment

I’m going to be honest, that doesn’t make any sense to me unless you are trying to use a state insurance program. Which at that point I completely understand. If you are willing to try a cash pay option, there are many options available to you, including doctors who are licensed in multiple states. But if you were going to go through a state insurance or other insurance, then I understand you might be more restricted. If you’re just concerned about using a telehealth doctor and paying out-of-pocket, I would not be concerned. But obviously you must do what you’re comfortable with.

Expand full comment

It has nothing to do with insurance. The law here is that you must go to a physician operating in this state, not just licensed in the state.

Expand full comment

Laws do not have a holy status. Laws are made by authorities based on interests and bribes and on occasion, for the people's welfare. There are many laws on the books that law enforcement and the gov't don't even enforce. (Look how the Constitution has been ravaged in the last few years.) So if there is a law that is twisting your arm and breaking it will not affect anyone else, don't think twice. If the authorities discover you are using a doctor online or out of state and they charge you a fine for it, so what. You can't let them hold you by the throat because they have an agenda. You have to do what will preserve your health. If you are older, they probably won't even bother.

Expand full comment

No, but you may not be able to get RX filled locally with an out of state doctor.

Expand full comment

I'm not exactly sure how that would be enforced. However a few more tips for finding some in your state are

-Utilize facebook groups to see if you can connect to a more holistic community. Your state/city/county name + crunchy will usually elicit results. You can try holistic too. Sometimes asking in local moms groups for more holistic recommendations will get you some information as well.

-If you have a chiropractor locally they might be able to refer you to someone in state. Many (though not all) chiropractors have a more holistic mindset.

-People do travel out of state to see specialists and for second opinions/treatment. If this is an option for you, it is something to consider to establish care. If you live close enough to a state border you could always try to look in that state too.

-If you are willing to share your state here there might be people who see and would be willing to provide you some information. More holistically minded doctors tend to fly under the radar so word of mouth is one way to learn about them.

Good luck!

You need to get blood work from time to time nevertheless. While my doctor has me use how I feel to take more such as during winter, it isn't always a sure thing and I get tested annually now that I am stable. In addition, while the desicated thyroid helps, some need a mix of that and levo. It is incredibly dangerous to mess with your thyroid hormones without testing. There must be certainty of how much you need, are taking, and good medical advice.

My state banned getting online blood tests: I have to get a script from my doctor. So I test less than before. In the past I always shared any tests I ordered with my doctor. I found out, however, there is a way around this law by a friend who orders her own tests in the same state. This might be the same for restrictions in other nanny states who pat themselves on the back that they are improving general health, but who knows?

I think it was around 2018 or 2019 that it was hard to get the USP porcine powder and some of the natural thyroid meds were having a hard time filling orders. I happened to be on a compounded med. I ditched the RX and went to a supplement called Thyrovanz. It is all natural bovine (not porcine) thyroid. It comes from New Zealand. The company has a FB page which is useful. I have done reasonably well on it. I would also highly recommend the book Stop the Thyroid Madness: A Patient Revolution Against Decades of Inferior Thyroid Treatment by Janie Bowthorpe . There is also a discussion group you can sign up for. The Admins help with interpreting lab results. You can also go through their recommended labs for your thyroid bloodwork. Best of luck to you as you resolve this issue!

Yes, Levothyroxine is T4 only. Not good! Yet, people are virtually forced onto it, as most of the companies manufacturing natural desiccated thyroid seem to have been demonized/run out of business, amd insirance will virtually always only pay for levothyroxine. After (regrettably) having my thyroid irradiated in the 1990’s (thanks again for further damaging my health, allopathic medicine), back when I thought one should simply do whatever my doctor advised, I took levothyroxine for many years. Once I learned more, I could not get any doctor to prescribe the natural desiccated medication. I will never again see an endocronologist; they’re all indoctrinated idiots. Finally, we got a functional medicine physician in our town, and that is the first thing she did…took me off Synthroid and put me on NatureThroid. I now take Armour (porcine) thyroid, because for awhile Naturethroid was not available. Of course, Armour thyroid is not covered by insurance, and it’s much more expensive than before (thanks for nothing, insurance companies). Another frustration: allopathic doctors mostly will only order a TSH only blood test, which is not adequate to figure out your thyroid status (thanks again for nothing, American medical system). AMD, surely you are aware that T4 only isn’t an adequate thyroid hormone replacement? Is anyone else here aware of how many millions of folks are prescribed Synthroid/levothyroxine? A major revenue stream.

I used Dr Amie Hornaman to get my thyroid optimized. She has prescribers in all 50 states.

Expensive, but totally worth it for me.

I should add my medications and blood work, then, are covered by my insurance.

We are submitting the expense of the Dr as personal medical expenses, which does go towards our deductible. But that's something different on the insurance you have, I believe.

After reading the history of events farther back than this one; Atlantis, and Lemuria, and farther back than that, from the beginning of time it seems like the egoistic self of the human just cannot resist strife and war and everything that goes with it. In order for this to change in any noticeable way, humanity would need to be educated at the simplest of levels about the workings of the ego vs the Higher Self. This is a planet that has had warring more than peace since the beginning. It seems to be the nature of the beast of ego. Perhaps this planet is designed for an impossible task of choosing love over hate. And I am an optimist!

Many spiritual teachers focus on this task. One of the simplest and clearest in modern times is Eckhardt Tolle. I think it’s an ongoing challenge and probably will be throughout human evolution, but I also think some times are particularly difficult and represent a collective spiritual crisis for humanity where we need to let go of old patterns that no longer serve us. I think we’re living in one such time.

From what I see, Eckhart is one of the few corrupted spiritual teachers. I watch for the congruent piece of words matching action. I think a key pivot in the future will come down to how the tyrannical few impact family economics, ability to pursue happiness, and most importantly threats to kids.

Adults can tolerate and work around a lot of gov't interference so long as it does not make our lives impossible to live under the conditions imposed or represent a grave risk to children. Those are the triggers for aggressive resistance and violent refusals.

We are divided enough now that it might only take one action to trigger the response. And, if I'm being honest, I am a bit shocked it hasn't happened in a state or region already.

Any attempt to confiscate arms from citizens will likely do it. I am pretty sure I know of dozens that would see that as an existential threat and would organize to stop it.

I think it was Rumsfeld that reminded someone that America was the vastly inferior fighting force that had to use insurgency tactics in many places... if it comes to that, THIS insurgency is heavily armed. But God help us all if the idiots push us to that.

Short answer:

1) I think we treat to too low of a BP target and it often causes problems (especially for the elderly).

2) With the medications, ACE inhibitors (or ARBs) are the least harmful, followed by thiazide diuretics.

3) A lot of times basic relaxation practices can make a huge difference (provided you do one that effectively relaxes the body).

4) Improving zeta potential is often quite helpful. Sometimes changing diet is as well.

5) Some times there is some type of issue with the renal artery certain body workers can fix.

6) If you meet someone who knows how to downregulate the sympathetic nervous system/upregulate the parasympathetic nervous system, that can be really helpful. There are a lot of different ways its done so it's much more practitioner dependent.
