We noticed independently the body odor of those after the first booster (everybody smelt the same) and then subsequent booster drives after that. The smell would be blown into our faces. We would notice it on people indoors as well. It can be so bad you had to fully air the room out after the person had left to get rid of it. I describe it as musty and rancid, my partner as sweet and unnatural kind of smell. Other unvaxxed people I have mentioned it to have not noticed this and forums only one other has confirmed they can smell it too. On Reddit post I saw said they could smell their own odor post vax under their armpit.
When I got “Covid” my first indication was the horrific smell of what I can only describe as rotting dead bodies for 24 hours. I considered jumping off the nearest bridge, it was like nothing thing I’d ever experienced. When I recovered from being sick, first, after taking silicea for stuffed nose, a homeopathic remedy, the mess that came from my sinuses was also horrific. It looked like the pictures I’d seen of the contents of the vaxx. Finally, I lost my taste and smell for nearly two years and now, even though they’ve returned, some foods taste terrible (citrus fruits for one) and from day to day my sense of taste changes.
I was never vaxxed. My point, I believe both Covid and like you describe, the vaxx, has a great impact on one’s sense of smell and taste.
Female, age 66 - I had covid 9/21, have lost 90% of taste & 70% of smell since that time. Covid illness was extremely mild, headache/fatigue. I've not been vaxxed, nor will I ever roll my sleeve to any vaxx. Not sure if it's long covid or shedding? My husband & I are both vaxx free & live alone. We have been around others who are vaxxed.
I believe that the illness spread through the air or through personal contact is likely the same or very similar to the ingredients in the jab(s). Likely those who get vaxxed get more intense/lasting and serious illness, and the more they get jabbed the worse for them. Those of us who were unvaxxed and got sick, now have natural immunity. So sorry your taste and smell haven’t returned to normal. The illness messed badly with my sinuses. I was sick about the same time 12/21 and not so mild but because I’m was under lots of stress at the time (for one my beloved dog died) and the only time I’m get sick (rarely) is because of stress. I’m haven’t gotten a vaxx since grade school, never a flu vax and never got the flu, even though I lived and worked in Manhattan for 35 years. My taste/smell have returned albeit not completely and seem to shift every day. One day something may taste ok, the next day not so much. I’m 77.
I was not very sick but my sinuses wouldn't stop running... over a yr now w/ no smell or taste except occasionally, and the odor is usually foul. It seems to be common to have it fluctuate over time. Very odd.
In 2021 after a bout of “it” I dosed myself with Silicea 30c overnight, 3x (I was all stuffed up) and a real mess came out. Odd indeed. I’m finally able to eat some citrus but it changes day to day. Yes, odd indeed.
I took a lot of silicea when I broke my wrists a yr ago... no change... but then the body can only handle so much at one time. Kali sulphuricum is in my cell salt book as helping but takes a month... I've gotta get a routine going. I saved the bag of elderberry/citrus Dr Teal's epsom salt bath because it is finally something I just discovered I can smell! What a treat!! At least for now.
My daughter's complaint was that all meat smelled like rotting meat. It was ok once it was cooked. That was 2 yrs ago. She still has issues and now leftover meat also smells... I'm wondering if she is smelling the breakdown of proteins.
That smell nearly drove me mad. For me it lasted 24 hours. In my fevered imagination I thought my house was sinking into the fetid earth because we’d had so much rain. It was more than my mind could comprehend. When I Searched OnLine I found many others like your daughter had a similar experience.
I still have distorted smell for a few things after 2 years. For me the problem is mainly when I cut onions (and leeks) and garlic, but it sometimes occurs when frying butter, or eating egg white. But there are now days as well when it doesn't occur, but then next day it will be back. But I am hopeful it will disappear altogether.
But 2 years ago the problems were much worse, and for example the smell of raw chicken would made me gag, and if in a restaurant a plate with salad with raw onion would be walked past me, I wanted to run. So I have come a long way :)
Funny, since the vid and smell issues, I believe my BO has changed too. At first I thought it was the woolen undershirts I was wearing but when I took them off they smelled fine, it was me ! Back to Nature sounds perfect ! I haven’t worn deodorant for probably 50 years !
Ann my husband smelt completely different after his Moderna and I told him, to me it smelt like an elderly person when their flesh is breaking down with age.

I do believe in shedding…

Thank you for your reply. Sorry for the loss of your fur baby. Blessings to you ...

Yes, for me it does still change but mostly it gets better. For a long time I couldn’t taste or smell anything but nasty.
Sometimes I think my underarms smell like onion sulphur... but I can't be sure... lolol I guess I'm fully in the hippy/back to nature commune now!

I would say the smell lasts up to 6 months...
